You're really taking up a lot of bandwidth with annoying polls. why not just ask people what they use and how and why they like it?

    I actually like the polls.

You can answer the questions with one click instead of typing.

The results are all condensed and tabulated, instead of reading each and every post.

Keep making polls, I for one enjoy them.

Thanks Georgect. I appreciate the encouragement.

Sushipup1 I'm sorry you feel that way. You don't have to participate. If it bothers you, please feel free to ignore them 😉👍🏿

    Gain makes us itch

Understandable. We're primarily Arm & Hammer users. But Gain and All are my other two favorites

For her, did that only apply to the Powdered versions? Did she feel the same way about the liquid Arm & Hammer as well? I'm really curious.

How can I see the results?

Here are MaMaP’s own words about Arm N Hammer....

Pat I've never used the liquid, but as for the powder..I love the scent but if you've ever used it you will see the powder is very heavy indicating its got more than its fair share of carbonates. It has a reputation of leaving clothes rough or scratchy which is another indication of carbonate overdose. It does a fair enough job cleaning light soils, but will require extra rinsing. But the scent is just lovely.

    Interesting 🤔

    thanks for sharing.

Hey Hot Rod, unfortunately the only way for you to see the results is to vote for one.... doesn't really make sense does it? 🤦🏿‍♂️ They need to change that.

Gain for the poll but in real life Persil or Tide.

Thanks Tanya I appreciate your comment :-)

Well, I did vote, but I don't see results.

    that's so weird 🤔

are you using the app or on the website?

    Tide

When we moved into our new home in 2017 I was using Gain-people commented on how good our hand towels smelled, but I was finding it was not cleaning laundry as well as the Tide I had been using. I switched back to Tide augmented with 20 Mule Team, along with FS. A couple of months ago I decided to buy a box of Gain, and am pleased with the scent our towels. So I keep both a box of Tide and Gain and use whichever I need.

Tide Original is the only detergent in my laundry room other than liquid Woolite for Darks. Both purchased in bulk at Costco for more than a decade. Never A&H or Gain. Soft water and I don't need my laundry scented, only quite clean.

I love Gain. It rinses out completely and I really like the scent. I have Gain powder, Gain Liquid, Gain fabric sheets, Gain fabric softener and Gain fabric balls. LOL......don’t anyone say it I know I need to get a life. I also miss MamapinkyO.

Yeah Gain is one of my 3 favorite detergents.

    Gain

I am actually using both but the A&H oxi rinses cleaner when I look at the rinse water.

Elbits thank you so much for the comment. I can't believe this post in over 2 years old! Wow. Yeah I'm currently using Arm & Hammer powder for my whites. But I also occasionally use Gain powder as well.

well Gain has once again, not sure how long ago but withing the past year i think anyway they have changed the scent i use to love Gain but not anymore i wish theyd change it back to the way it smelled when it first came out. The original scent is not original sadly

Hi MiMi! Long time. How would you describe new Gain scent now as opposed to let's say 2 years ago?

The Gain scent from years past was more herbal. The last box I bought smells like cheap perfume.

Interesting. Would you agree that it smells different than even last year's formula?

correction here… the powdered Gain still smells nice to me, not like it use to but still nice.. I just finished up a box but replaced it with Tide original scent its the liquid original Gain and matching fabric softener that i cant stand anymore i have tried to figure out what it does smell like. A weird sweet smell is all i can come up with. I miss that in your face burst of fresh that detergents use to have

I am back to only using Tide original powder. The Gain was just not getting our laundry clean enough, and the scent that people used to comment on when using our hand towels is not like it was. In order to get that strong scent I would have to use a large portion, which means over dosing and having the resultant problems. Miss the Gain scent though.
