Looks a lot more modern without the welt at the seams.

I think your chair is from Lee Industries. They often provide products for Arhaus. A replacement slipcover for the chair can be ordered through a designer or retailer.

Why not contact Lee directly and find out your options?

I enjoy slipcovering and upholstery and found this blogger a few years ago.

https://slipcovermaker.com/

One of her services is to copy slipcovers. You mail her the slipcover, I assume she takes it apart to make a pattern and sews a new cover. I think she does beautiful work.

Removing the skirt IMO will not work with a slip cover meant for that chair. What are the legs like for instance ? IMO the chairs are not modern so no matter what you cover them with they still will not be modern. BTW reupholstery will often cost as much as a new chair. The only wat to keep these looking at least a bit simple is a perfectly made and fitted slip cover .

that chair ot totally modern, square, clean lines..its the pattern on fabric .that makes it look "non modern"
