I agree! I could have tv mounted yes that is an option. But immediately to make my eyes happy...

Sofa against window; rug centered on sofa; two chairs facing t v; add a coffee table.

Second example is better because the two chairs are facing the direction I think may work…facing the fireplace and t v.

This arrangement may work, as well. You would have to move the sofa back to get your rug in this position. Now the two chairs would be in front of your windows. So sofa is looking at t v and chairs are looking at fireplace.

Yes! Except I think the rug should run horizontally with the windows .What do you think? You need a coffee table. With this arrangement, you might be able to fit another accent chair into the mix.

Nice, Cecilia. One last suggestion; You can pull back the two swivels so that the front legs are on the rug just as you have done with the sofa. It won’t look so tight.
