IMO you need to be a bit further along before choosing wall color I know builders like to paint before flooring but IMO the floorinf has a huge effect on wall color. So if you must then what colr are the cabinets since they will need to be considered for sure. All your lighting needs to be LED in 4000K if you want to avoid any yellow undertones at all. 4000 K mimics daylight so it makes it a bit easier to choose color. I think in your space I would choose an actual color for the walls like a really soft grayed/ green a perfect neutral for all the other items you have going on and avoids the issue of what works where .I like Gray Wisp BM and often cut it 25% if I want a bit lighter shade. IMO that is a much more neutral color than white it is what nature uses for a backdrop for every color .

Patricia - Thank you for your thoughts! Yes, the flooring totally affects the wall color. The floors will be a natural white oak - plain water-based finish. The cabinets will be white but depends somewhat on what is best overall paint for the open concept. I’m leaning towards Simply White for the cabinets and Viatera Rococo for the countertops if they work together. If we went with gray for the walls, I’d want it to very light, almost white.

This is what we are mimicking our floor/design plan off of which is why I’m leaning towards white overall. Thank you both for your help!
