Painted with eggshell - looks greasy

I painted some very old walls in the kitchen with a Behr Premium eggshell paint, over what looks like matte. I don't like how it came out. It emphasizes all the imperfections, and when the light reflects off of it, it looks very glossy, I think it looks greasy, and splotchy. Any way to fix it? Could I paint over it with matte?
