First take a picture without the weird lens the realtor uses. Also we need a floor plan done to scale showing all windows and doorways and some explantion of what you are wanting and your budget. If this is anew to you house then IMO you live with it as is for min3 or better 6 months before doing anything. The lightinf needs new pot lights in LED 4000K for sure but even before that you need a good idea of how that space functions for you.

Could it be that you might need more retrofitting of the cabinets you have rather than adding more cabinets? For example, pull outs, proper pots and pans storage, nifty shelving with the cabinets.

Need additional pictures but at first glance I'd install a built in bench in the breakfast nook with storage.

Are you changing the countertops? If so , you may want to remove some cabinets and do a pantry.

A number of photos from various angles and dimensions would help, greatly. Please indicate dimensions, as Patricia requested. Your kitchen appears to have a good number of windows that prohibit cabinet placement.

I would remove the soffit and extend the cabinets to the ceiling. I would also change the corner cabinet into a pantry.
