Okay, I would paint a neutral tone but not white or builder's white. I like the pictures above and some have a tint of brown or gray.

HI -- Whites are back "cloud white " by Benjamin Moore . Another perfect color is "Revere Pewter" by BM , it can have a slight green under tone .Depends on the light and time of day -very popular. Then there is Classic grey and Florentine plaster . All of these will go with your other choices . Looks like you removed a few walls ,- looks like it's going to be great !

Could you share some more information - first about the photos - are these three views, or is one a before and one an after? - and then about the furnishings you have which will go into the space? What do you have in the way of artwork, and accessories? What will the flooring be? Open floor plans don't have to be only one color, or one value of the color (value - where it would be between white and black if you took a photo and printed it in grayscale). But I need more information before I could recommend something. Also - do you want a tranquil soothing space, or parts to be higher energy?

Whites may be back but I am not into trends. I think it's best to look at what you have to go into the room and pull from some type of inspiration piece. Yes, you should think about the mood you want to set. An accent wall of some fabulous color will be beautiful. You can stay neutral in the paint and go for pops of color in the accessories. By the way, there are a ton of natural woven shades that come in a variety of colors other than wood tones so you could still have color at the windows! Revere Pewter is one of the Benjamin Moore grays which seems to go with everything. If you want to do an accent wall somewhere, there's a darker gray on the same strip - coventry gray I believe - which is very compatible. Remember to post some "after" photos for us to see!
