To me, that would feel unbalancdd with the room. A custom stand alone piece may be a better option in terms of look. you could do a smaller matching piece in between the two doors, and a natching window seat under the window to create balance on that end of the room, and tie it together a a bit more.

I would definitely leave 4-6” between the bathroom door trim and the new furniture.

I'm sorry! I accidentally edited that out. This is a library/music/living space. We are hoping to get new flooring & furniture soon to make it a comfortable spot to lounge, read and gaze out the windows, play music & cozy up by the fireplace. It's been loaded up with lots of dark, mismatched pieces and furniture that wasn't quite comfortable. It's a great room, but not living up to it's potential just yet. :)

If you look for some bookcase units with doors on the lower half, you might be able to get the feeling and function you're after without the commitment and complications of a built-in. I had a pair that I bought from Staples, of all places. Ikea would be another place to try. You can add your own trim to dress them up a bit.

If you get a loveseat..face it toward the fireplace...there may be room to put a long chest with drawers behind it...for added storage...not having a floor plan with measurements...and accurate door and window placement it is really just guessing ...when trying to make suggestions...

If this is a music room, sitting area, I would worry more about having a bathroom door into it. I would try and change that to another location if its possible.
