Cannot determine what that square thing on the lower right is, need detail. Also do not see a dryer vent. Does not appear you have a gas connection.

The dryer vent is the white square in lower bottom. My brother in law looked at this and said this is only electric connections, no gas.

Doesn't appear to have a gas connection but have you asked the sellers?

What is that round silver thing to the left of the 220 outlet? Have you removed it to investigate? It possibly could be a plate covering a gas line stub that is capped.

Another thing--you can go back to the gas meter & follow the gas line/ lines and see if one of the lines is headed in the direction of the laundry room. Could be under the house or in the attic. Or even enter from outside if the laundry room is on an exterior wall. Easy to trace UNLESS the lines are buried under a slab floor.
