Agree a brass something- I was thinking a tray with a low container with greenery In it - ferns maybe. If real plants aren’t your thing, there are good quality silk ferns like a maidenhair variety that look pretty real. I see something on wall shelf - middle shelf, second from left. Looks like low container with teal orbs that match blues in room. What would that look like on table for color pop? Looks like some chunky candle holders on shelf to right. Add those too. Shop those shelves then rearrange the shelves with items already on it.

You could put candlesticks on the tray, glasses, a figurine ... just about anything. :)

Every room needs a plant and the coffee table would work well for that, especially with that large window.

Then, add some nice coffee table books, which are always fun for guests to grab and browse.

Too much flower & maybe not big enough. I still think you should try those items from your shelves first. It’ll give you a better idea of which look you like & maybe you already have something that would display better on your table than it‘s doing on the shelves.

I would do a solid rug. The wallpaper brings in a lot of shape.... I would put a tray on the table with some pretty books and flowers on top of the books with candles in the tray

My issue is that no one sitting in the brown chairs or on the sofa with a drink in hand has easy access to someplace to put it down. Cocktail tables should be no further than 12-18" from the seats to be useful. Have you tried the chairs on opposite sides of the table, facing each other over it? That way I think everyone can reach the table.

Martini table would work, if that’s an issue.

I love those little martini tables and I agree the room is not done.
The problem is my decorator made so many mistakes executing the room that I don’t work with her anymore so I never really got to finish the room. I need a table in the corner between the couch and the chair and possibly a smaller one on the other side of the brown chair. I need a new rug. And I need a consul table behind the sofa with some lamps on it along the wall.

She completely accessorized the whole wall unit which is why I don’t even want to touch it.

I have no design ability which is why I cannot even make up a decision about silly little accessories on top of a table ha ha

If you want to continue with your brass, here's an interesting garden stool that could work for cocktails.

Well, it’s just personal preference, but I like the first ones best. I like the colors and that they’re different than what everyone else has. :)

I'll go against the grain here. Nothing. You need nothing on that table. Leave space for when you need to set something down on it, like a drink or appetizers. Otherwise you'll just have to find a place to put the other stuff while you are entertaining. There's nothing wrong with leaving a flat surface unadorned.

Oh, and I like your rug colors. It ties in the chairs and sofa and your accessories. ...it maybe is a bit too small for the room.

I love that rug...but by itself...I feel like the rug we have is too dark and I don't love the colors...it was there already - we didn't get it when we redid the room.
