Best thing to do is ignore the floors. I know they are intrusive but ignore them. Then you go ahead and paint over the beige walls. Beige rarely goes with 'coastal'.

Remember: anytime you want to add a wood tone, you simply throw down an area rug and keep going. So long as the two wood tones are separated by an area rug, you should be fine.

Paint those walls a warm Ivory, buttery yellow, a pale sea salt, throw down large area rugs in a very neutral and natural SISAL. Consider a dining table in a painted finish and stay away from as much brown wood, brown leather and brown anything else for that matter.

The house is long and deep, and your exposures are not abundant. Make VERY certain this is the house for you. Emotional reactions to light...........no right or wrong......are that in a nutshell.

Doesn't look like Brazilian Cherry. Before looking at the pics I was going to say there's bound to be some major discoloration in the rooms when they are empty due to light and how wood floors will change color. Many exotic hardwoods and American Walnut, Cherry are more pronounced with color changes.

Not Brazilian Cherry but I like the natural look. Could be Hickory with the pictures I see.

So here’s another pic. It states on listing Brazilian cherry and husband says it’s not dark but has a red tint but to be honest, I haven’t seen it yet which is making it so hard (moving across country so only he saw)

And thank you! I think the beige walls have brown which makes everything so much darker so I think painting will help a ton
