Thanks for contacting Hamish Murray Construction Inc. It was an existing wall that we had to work around with care, throughout the project because it had no finish on it. It is a raw 1x4 clear tongue & groove rough sawn cedar installed vertically.

Will you share the resource for the nightstands? They are simple and easy!

Beth, the nightstands were owner supplied. We handle the construction end of things. :-)
