Hi. It was rough summer for my plants, no matter they are having good care and usually doesn't need anything special, like fertilizers or etc.

So I have one Stapelia red cactus, known also as seastar cactus. It started wilting years ago, getting skinny and dark, covered with white dust. I cleaned it and removed some sprouts.

Now one of them is big, fat and healthy, other is like dried and dying. Both standing at the same window/balcony, both having the same water.

What's the problem? I'm trying as much as I can but can't explain how the same plant with the same conditions and care is acting differently. Please share an oppinion!
