Please ignore paint swatches and clutter. We just moved in 2.5 weeks ago. This is our dining space with the furniture we brought with us. The light fixture and curtains/rod came with the home. Table has a leaf, so it does get longer, but not wider. We will eventually replace the floors (with TAS Equinox premium laminate in the color Sandstone) and the paint color (learning toward SW Accessible Beige), and I do have an IKEA Morum rug to go under the table. What can I do to give life to this space? I’m open to anything including buying hutch/buffet/China cabinet, paint color suggestions and light fixture changes. It is an open concept, and the living room is VERY poorly lit (that’ll have to be another post). Small windows are 64in from the floor to the bottom of the window and 49in apart. Ceilings are 9ft. TIA
