Could you give us a bit more info and also a to scale floor plan . The space looks small and so a desk would not be something to add as far as i can see. I have no idea why you bought drapes that now drive the whole color scheme those are usually the last item to choose. I need a to scale floor plan and also is that a twin bed? How old are you ? We need info.

The internet is a lousy way to show colors. I can't tell what color walls you have, all 4 pictures look like different colors.

Your drapes actually look greige vs taupe.

Neutrals are one of the following

Yellow/gold beige

Green beige

Greige (Somewhere between green beige and green gray)

Green Gray

Blue Gray

Violet Gray

Taupe (somewhere between violet gray and pink beige)

With your blue dresser I would have picked something like this to go with it.

I would pick bedding that I like that goes with your dresser and flooring and then choose curtains and paint color.

What is your budget? You are a student, correct? Is this a permanent residence or a rental/student housing?

The drapes can be returned no issue. This is a rental and Im 30 yrs old. Id likr to spend under 500$. The bed is a queen. Id like bedding that is not necessary matching my dresser but rather "goes with it". I think the turquoise dresser is the only turquoise Id like to se in the room. Yes the room is small. I cannot fit anything else in the room except maybe a small desk in the corner or some shelving unit.

To create balance you usually want 3 items of one color. Having just one makes it feel out of place. How is it supposed to tie to the rest of the room?

You don't need to do bedding, but you will need art or something else that ties the blue to your bedding.

Hi, you mentioned adding a desk — do you really need a work area in the bedroom? Maybe a space can be created in another area?

Art is doable with turquoise. Desk can be in another room but now I have all this extra unused space next to my window.

A mirror over the dresser...perhaps a black frame to relate to the bed...if the bed would work in front of the window that would allow you to center the chest on that wall...and have a more useful bedside table and a lamp...we are all just guessing as there are no measurements

The room is approx. 106 inches x 151 inches. My bedroom door is 36 inches, closest door is 30 inches, and window is 58 inches including the moulding for all three. The colour of the walls are a light creamy beige.
