Hi, I used Astonish Oxy Active Plus powder directly on my sofa today... sprinkled it on, left it a little while then hoovered it off again. I did not dilute or anything like that. A friend told me it was good for removing smells and was the same as soda crystals, however after looking online it looks like they are not the same thing at all and I’m panicking as the active ingredient seems to be a lot more sinister in what I used than soda crystals... active ingredient was sodium carbonate peroxhydrate. Can anyone help? Will hoovering it alone be enough or will I need to put water on the area I put it onto to dilute it?
