Anyone In NJ or similar zone 6B climate have a

Rock garden?

i have so many sempervivem and ice plants potted separately in succulent soil, up off the ground but it’s gotten to a point now where I might as well just try a rock garden I figure if I do like a raiseD bed To keep The soil properly draining it might just work.

help?!

I have a few potted ones myself and I love them. Did you protect those pots during winter or leave as is?

I would probably post a pic here of the area you want this garden and then many could give you ides based on what they see)
