First and foremost, faucets have to be functional. I hate separate sprayers because the hose tends to get kinked up and never fits back into it's holder. There are plenty of single handle faucets with pull-out sprayers that do not have high profiles. Try to find one that has a magnetic locking mechanism to keep the hose in place.

If you don't like these, look for pull OUT faucets, not pull DOWN faucets. The pull-out ones tend to be lower in profile.

There's another thread here about two-handled faucets in kitchens. The consensus was "no." And all those grooves and nooks and crannies? Nope, no way. It is a style that doesn't look like it goes with the rest of what I can see in your pic, either. What is it you like about it?

Thanks for your assessment! We live in a cottage on a golf course. The kitchen is small but efficient. The corian is being replaced with quartz (afraid of using marble). Dropping the bar wall should open the area. Here are some pics. I will continue shopping.
