Thanks for your question. The floor is a cast in place concrete slab on grade. An integral Lamp Black color was added to the concrete before it was poured. That's what gives it the dark gray color. The slab was then sealed and is finished with a paste wax to give it a luster. The slab is cast on top of rigid insulation and has radiant heating tubes inside so it is toasty in the winter.
