Floor is pretty and deserves to be the star. I don't care for the paper with the floor. What color is the valance in the kitchen? I can't tell on my screen if it is navy or charcoal. Navy or charcoal would be my choices on color.

It’s a cross between indigo/ charcoal. You think a grass cloth? Or just paint? Wish I had access to more wallpaper books but they’re not accessible where I live due to Covid.

Deep teal green is accent color in my DR so was considering that too.

I’d look for a wallpaper with a dark background and a bold pattern.

There are plenty of options to view online. Don’t limit your choices. Look at Spoonflower and Hygge & West. You can purchase samples to check the colors before ordering.

I think you need something bold to stand up to the floor. A powder room is a great place to be adventurous with color and pattern!

A charcoal or almost black wallpaper with a smaller, airy pattern would look great.

I think a patterned paper and the colors of your choice are fine, but the palm design doesn't work well with the more traditional marble floor. I'd keep looking for a paper with a white background and the deep greens you like, but with another pattern. Maybe a trellis type pattern, or something similar to your dining room paper. Or go for a dramatic paint color.

I’m finding papers with white backgrounds don’t look good atop the white wainscoting- it needs a dark background to complement the lighter floor. The “ trellis paper” is from a Seabrook wallpaper book considered contemporary and there are several palm prints within this same book.

Marble is versatile and appropriate in a variety of styles, including contemporary and modern as well as traditional.

I tend to agree with this^. I view it the same as a wood floor- goes with any style .

Nice choice of wallpaper. Odd location for the outlet though - can it be moved to the side and the hole covered with a mirror?

That IS an odd location isn’t it- I suppose it’s been there so long that I never notice it anymore. My husband should’ve moved it when he installed the wainscoting 15 yes ago. I already have an inset medicine cabinet with oval mirror above the sink..... so I guess I’ll have to live with it. 🤷‍♀️

Beautiful powder room!

If it's not too late you can just place a mirror on the wall over the sink to cover the outlet. The outlet may not be needed for a powder room.
