I never could figure out how to search since it became Houzz.

I feel that way, too, and it (also the fact that life has led to my doing less work on quilts in recent years) has kept me away from this forum, but in the old GardenWeb and then TOR days, I loved it and was a frequent visitor. It's so nice to see some of the names I remember from then. Glassquilt, Geezerfolks, you...there are probably others, too.

I probably should write that I was using the name Biwako back then. Don't know when it changed, but I have found that sometimes sites do things that lead me to having to re-register with a new name. It gets confusing.

I used to be McPeg. Joined GW as an original member some time 1996? I was big on garden seed trading for a long, long time. Remember quilting discussions. Loved the Kitchen Table. There was even a logo designed for it. Spike gave us a page for Sembremos Seeds of Hope to help send seeds to Honduras after Hurriane Mitch. I've just recently started coming back here.

This winter I hope to share more quilting - working on a new one now to keep my fingers out of the chip bag at night.

I be tried numerous times to start a new thread with a new picture without success. Problem seems to arise when they ask you to choose a n area of interest. Since I can’t find quilting I choose design dilemmas snd post snd never see it again. Frustrating

I find that quilting is already selected. (You really have to scroll down to see it.) So try not selecting anything and see if it posts. Definitely start the post from the quilting page.

• biwa45, Of course I remember you! You sent me some succulents that we've enjoyed and some blooms, too! So nice to see you posting again. Some of us are stubborn and don't want to let houzz keep us from our quilting friends so we are still here......just not posting as much as we used to. For me, one reason is because I'm not sewing/quilting as much as I used to. It seems the years are starting to sap my energy but I enjoy a spurt of gumption once in awhile. :-)
• McPeg, I do remember that name! Nice to know you're still quilting. We still like to see pictures of what our members have made. It often gives someone a boost and who hasn't needed one of those during 2020!

Fran, I'm pretty sure there are a ton of our posts the astronauts speed by in outer space. LOL
