And I would say the ivory or beige color. Even deeper tan or brown might work. Not the silver/grey, too cold for your room.

we plan on finishing the ceiling. Just didn’t get that far yet. Yes I need a rug. An outdoor rug. Cleanable and child proof. I have 18 grand children and it’s just a space for them to go. Probably to watch movies or play Xbox. I don’t have space for ping pong or pool table or anything like that. Just want a place for them to hang out. Also. They take their food and eat down there on special occasions thus need it cleanable

I want a toy area too and I was going to put barn doors on my exercise room

Well, first of all you need to be aware that for basement is very important to provide the lighting system implemented in to the ceiling and play with the shapes, generating a proper ambient to avoid the claustrophobic feeling and causing depresión.

playing with lights on the ceiling it is the most important thing that any additional furniture.

If you seriously wanted help with this space, you should have been more specific about your requirements, etc., in your post/description. For example: How is anyone really supposed to know that you have 18 grandchildren and want a washable indoor/outdoor rug? And then when folks (I.e. me) show up to try and help, you don't even have the common courtesy to thank them, because they can't - and or prefer not to try to - read your mind.
