I have a hosta on Black Friday!

I took a quick walk in my backyard today..surprise!..this is a So Sweet or a Fragrant Bouquet..it's still here!..I bought several of each a few years ago..could be either but my best guess is So Sweet..I wish I'd noticed the ash seed and pulled it out sigh..they're everywhere..a cute Tassle fern..some hybrid hellebores and a clump of epimedium..and a few sticks hubby piled up last week after the wind and rain..

If you have been having the milder weather that we have been having in Milwaukee, I can see why plants are confused. I have hellebores and a heuchera still looking good. Just the last few days the cold weather is creeping in............. :-(

if I edit the post my pics will drop..so I'm back to say there were 2 hostas but I took a pic of just the cutest one Lol..

I'm not sure what you are saying. Are you saying it's a seedling? Or, are you saying it's a lost hosta that is now found?

bkay..it's not a seedling or a lost hosta..just saying that it's surprising for me to have a hosta this late in November..

One of my hosta pots looks like it is starting to grow. I have to wonder what will happen when it freezes and if the plant will be set back come spring. Your hosta seems confused too! So I'm wondering how, and if, the hosta is going to be OK in the spring. Both our plants are not going dormant properly.

newhostalady..I didn't take a picture but I noticed today there's a few green leaves in the center of my Pineapple Upside Down Cake too..we have snow coming Monday..I bet that'll destroy my "later than usual" hostas..I think they'll be fine in the spring..hostas are so dependable..

here are my other 2 "barely but still standing" hostas..#1 - Pineapple Upside Down Cake and #2 - Fragrant Bouquet..Fragrant Bouquet is on the other side of the area with So Sweet..I remember planting Fragrant Bouquet first on that end..
