bathroom remodel help

I am in the process of removing the existing tile and mud set and have uncovered the pipes are above the subfloor. I was planning on building back up to the height of the floor in hallway but was wondering if I can just build up around the pipes or If I need to have them moved to beneath the subfloor. Any help is appreciated or other tips are greatly appreciated.

Are the pipes for underfloor heating? You might be better off calling a plumber.

You have opened up quite a can of worms with this project! Since the pipes appear to be galvanized iron, I would suggest repiping. That stuff is probably at the end of it's lifespan. Is some of the subfloor nailed in between the joists? I've only seen that once or twice before.

@Seabornman haha, yes I have. Ok I have a plumber coming in this week and was just wondering if I should have him redo those and yeah I think so. do you think I should rip out all of the existing subfloor and redo it from the floor joists?
