Has anyone used Kraus Sinks?

Hi there, we are redoing our kitchen and having a hard time deciding on a good, affordable sink. We have two sitting in a box and not sure which to keep. Blanco 32 inch with centre drain and 18 gauge stainless steel. The other is a Kraus 16 gauge, which is a little thicker and has an offset drain. Reviews for the Kraus and offset drain are pretty good, but I not familiar with the brand. Has anyone used Kraus?

My daughter has a 27” Kraus sink with offset drain. I wish I had the same sink.

The offset drain allow room for lots of storage/or a double trash pullout

I have a kraus sink, it doesn’t have an offset drain, but it’s a great sink and I would totally buy it again.

An offset drain is an advantage, and even moreso if it is offset to the corner the way Badgergal's photo shows.

I believe a 16 gauge is an advantage over an 18 gauge, though people disagree with me. I am sensitive to the more tinny sound that an 18 gauge sink will have when a fork drops into it. That is me, others feel differently.

I don't have a Kraus sink, but as you have seen yourself, it gets very good reviews, and has been for years on this forum.

We have a Kraus sink. Really nice solid sink. We thought the grate at the bottom would be a pain, but we really like having it.

I have a 33 “ kraus under mount sink with the offset drain. I love it!! We bought the workstation from Costco so it came with the faucet the bottom rack, a cutting board, and a strainer. All are very good quality.

Appreciate all of you taking time to provide feedback. We decided to return the Blanco and keep the Kraus.

@Rebekah Gibbs which reveal did you choose? meeting with fabricator tomorrow and I have to choose

You want a slight positive reveal. Fabricators love negative reveals because they don't have to place sinks as accurately, but they create a crud lip. Flush reveals create an elongated silicone joint that catches crud after it frays and looks horrible. A slight positive revel makes a crisp easily cleaned joint.

have two and both are fine. the smaller one has sharper corners (less rounded) and gunk tends to build up more.

Rtpaige03 I guess ours would be flush? I didn’t choose it was just installed by our contractor that way. I like it though and don’t find yet any gunk build up!

We found a Chinese supplier, Aquacubic, on Google. They have a warehouse in the US and shipped us a sink that is the same as the Kraus.
