Nice map! I'd remove the low table to the right of your desk/shelving unit and put the tree in that corner instead of next to the TV.

Lol thank you that’s actually where it used to be. But right now it’s hiding a wiring nightmare in the tv corner 😂

I think your space looks good already. If you add the ladder bookcase, it will make the area look cluttered.

If your wiring nightmare is behind the planter, not the foliage, maybe a long low media cabinet to span that alcove would be worth considering for camouflage and storage. Ikea's Besta series has a lot of options, as an example.

I agree about the Besta system and if that tree is fake get it out of there and no to the ladder bookshelf to hole knick knacks .

I think the space is neat enough, but could still use some color. maybe add a small indoor plant :)
