My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Under mount sink without clips

I just ordered my quartz kitchen countertop. I was told that the installing company would also install the sink. They explained to me that they are not going to use the clips, but brackets installed diagonally from the sink and screwed into the cabinet walls.

I was only aware of drilling holes under the countertop and setting anchors in them to screw in mounting clips to hold the sink directly to the countertop.

Is this a new method of installation? Does it work better or should I request the anchored clips installation?
