What’s or style? Do you want more of a traditional farm look. Or classic craftsman. If your replacing the door I’d try to fill the entire cutout with door. Meaning see how the sides and top aren’t door it’s side lights and trim? Get a big door. As far as paint you can either paint the house white and white wash the brick and do black trim. Or you keep the brick and go with a navy siding and eventually add some cedar shake... options are so endless. I’d start with that and eventually add new lighting. Make the walkways completely brick. A new address sign. This house doesn’t need a ton a work. But still has a tonnnn of potential

Yes to painting the brick on your front fascade. That will do a lot to unify the house so that the entry doesn't look stuck on. Would also suggest adding an exterior lantern of some type either on the two legs of the brick portion or in the band between the entry door and the windows above. Bevelo has some very nice fixtures. As for the front door black might be nice. Would prefer that over a lighter color door except for white.

The brick color doesn't seem to work with your home. I would consider staining it to match the roof or limewashing it. The shutters could be a more sophisticated color instead of the black.

The bushes closest to the house should not grow much taller than the window sills

Cut some foamcore board to the same size as a shutter. Try deep forest green paint on it, prop it up over a shutter. See if you like that color for the door, too.
