We bought one of those homes that have the honey orangey/reddish cabinet finish with a bit of a sheen. I will add a photo of our wall cabinets. I would like to change the finish on these cabinets so that they look a little more up to date and contemporary. I’m not sure how to accomplish this. Sanding, wood toner, different polyurethaneWe are also considering painting the uppers white and leaving the lowers wood. Any thoughts on how to accomplish? Btw. The photo looks a lot less orangey and reddish than they are in real life.
