That is cute and clever but probably not very handy for a sewing room or anywhere that the notions were expected to be easily grabbed and used.

Maybe in place of a sewing basket they would be useful as a place to keep some needles and thread and a couple of notions.

I tried to keep my knitting needles in a needle roll but found it so darned awkward to have to open up the needle roll all the time.

very creative. Much more organized than shoving packs of needles in the back of a sewing basket, velcro on the right side and scissors to the front.

My notions live in a tackle box.

Whatever works, c t. No quilt police! I finally bought an organizer to put my notions in when we have our retreats. I'm pretty sure I have multiples of most of my favorites so I'm looking forward to loading it up and being ready to take off! :-) I'm thinking it really needs to be tested. lol

Hi Sammy, it was a long process, all done by hand sewing and tacky glue.

I'd have to write an essay for the entire process.
