The ding-dong installation crew over-sealed my Costa Esmeralda and I was left with a haze on it, couldn't get it off with soap and water or rubbing alcohol. I was really hesitant to use the acetone trick I read on the board because it seems so....harsh...but I mentioned the problem to the fabricator yesterday (separate project, different fabricator), and was told to use acetone by them too. So I picked up some 100% acetone, gave it a good rubbing in as I was working along in spots, then rinsed multiple times with a wet rag. It worked! No more haze! No damage to the counter! It really works! :0)

I did the water test afterwards to see if it needs re-sealing, but the water is still sitting there a couple hours later so I guess not. Costa really doesn't need sealing from what I've read on the board, anyway.
