Just a little bunch of flowers that brighten my day — and I hope they will yours, too!

L&P slept through the hot weather, but seems to have woken up now. The colors are so vibrant — I love it!

GS has been with me for four years. Neighbor to Dr. Grill. Like that tea, it is climbing a trellis, although more slowly than DrG.

DB is fragrant now, and is usually fragrant for me here in 9a. Don’t know why, as it doesn’t have much reputation for fragrance, and other roses (Julia Child, for example) have no fragrance at all in this climate.

Sexy Rexy is a mainstay of my garden. Susceptible to chili thrips (but then, what isn’t). Puts out a great fall flush.

OLOG has been my surprise wonder this year. I love the silvery pink. It’s next to some Love Songs and when those are in bloom, the color combination is terrific. Outstanding rose, and fairly thrips-resistant. Very few prickles/thorns.

This looks like a warm, dry winter here in SoCal, so dormancy will be iffy. I prune in mid-Jan regardless.
