I would choose a really soft grayed green or sage.

^Agree. Look at sage greens similar to this one...Saybrook Sage from Benjamin Moore. Good fit with your roof color.

is any of the samples on pic similar to sage green?

It's hard to tell for sure but maybe the second from the right. The other shades aren't working for me, at least on my screen. The far right one looks very minty green.

Consider staying with a warm tone to work with the gorgeous roof.

So you're not interested in selecting a color that would be more classic in design???

Me too. These are the nearest I could find. Always only a ball park guess, using photos though.

Your roof color can be challenging but really nice with some of these options. I like Beth's suggestion of light stucco and darker trim. We've used Swiss Coffee for exterior trim in the past. I love it but it can look pretty light on the exterior...like a soft white.

do you think that this combo wuld work

exterior paint acacia haze or svelte sage SW 3235 with dover white trim

no. It's basically the same color you already have!!

do dover white for the stucco. Acacia for the trim.

that weird looking sage color is too gray/vomit looking. and if you paint the stucco with that, it will look horrid.

    yuk

I gave you colors that will work. pick one of those for the trim. even the blues mary posted are nice for the trim.

why don't you grab some samples and try some of what you think will work? you already have and none of them look right. neither will svelte sage. That's why you're here asking for help.

but if you don't believe me, get a sample. (honestly tho? save you money)

get a sample of Dover and paint the stucco w/it.

try the acacia on the trim. or one of the blues, or even that Attitude gray is nice. try those

thx Beth, we were just trying to avoid whitish look, what about Shervin william HGSW 3246 softened green

it is 1st color painted on house from right.

Beth what you mean exactly by "trim" (gutters, ..?)

do the gutters run completely around the roof area? normally there is fascia 'trim'

can the gutters be painted? If so, use the trim color for those.

what about your windows? (you've only posted a tiny shot of the house and most of it is obscured by plant or the overhang, so I can't see)

usually trimming out the window defines them as opposed to painting them and the stucco the same color. so paint all of the trim around your windows in the other color.

porch posts, front door, can all get a diff color

The Zurich White and Foggy Day combo w/the red barn or terra cotta (paint your front door that color) could be tried. if you want, try the foggy day on the stucco and the white trim

Sorry, but all of those latest greens you picked are depressing. and dull.

is this the look you want?? sorry, but this is horrible.

if you want something darker, then heck, go dark. go super dark.

why don't you want a light stucco w/contrasting trim? with all the bright green foliage, it will look perfect!
