I dont mind the blue, what I think is throwing it all off, is the beige or ivory colored carpet. I would buy an area rug to put in front of the couch, (a fairly large one) in the same blues as the wall. Also some throw pillows with that blue on them, and maybe a few other smaller accessories to tie it all together. Your furniture right now, looks very bland, and needs to be accessorized to match in with the walls. As for the gold, well, that doesnt go with much of anything, especially the floors, although the color itself isnt all that bad. It definitely needs to be painted something that will go with the blue, and also the hallway floors.

I don’t really like the blue or the gold paint. I think you should start with an area rug to use on the carpet - you can decide wall color after you’ve chosen something you love.

An area rug will help your furniture to stand out from the carpet.

I can’t tell for sure what color the carpet is - kinda looks like a taupe shade on my iPad.
