I looked both colors up, and they dont appear to look great together, viewing the swatches side by side. I did find this for the Stoneybrook. Maybe you can find a color here to go with that. There is a list of many colors that should look good with Stoneybrook.

I asked Google Gemini to repaint the house with Benjamin-Moore Duxbury Gray siding and Puritan Gray trim. Puritan Gray is one shade lighter than Duxbury Gray. I'm not sure that Gemini got the trim correct but you get the idea which, in my opinion is not modern. However it is a house that I can imagine kids riding by on their bicycles and throwing rocks through the windows because they assume the house is haunted.

^ i agree - but if you want a change maybe stroll thru the ben moore historic collection, many of those colors are nice for classic exteriors as they have enough warmth and depth and won’t lean icy

fwiw we have a blue house with white windows at the lake and painted the door ben moore golden gate for a coral punch up (this is the color below)

IMO your house will never be modern and I too like what you have much better than what you think will make it modern. That lovely trim needs to be highlighted and the house needs to be the style it is embraced

Have you thought about just putting the same color back on it? I am assuming that it does need to be repainted? It goes well with your roof, and is actually quite a nice color. I have to agree with above, the gray did make it look a bit haunted. Sorry. LOL

BM Nantucket Gray is a nice exterior color. More khaki than gray. When we lived in New England we used the color for one of our houses.
