Different ceiling heights taking down wall kitchen and dining

hello we are re doing kitchen and removing a wall between dining and kitchen. there is about a 1 inch different height in the two rooms, any suggestions for what to do, should we add drywall to one side to even out, or should we have a small L shaped lip from one side to the other would like to hear any ideas
