A couple shots of Dancing Darling, late May and mid June. It holds its color well but I didn't take any late season pics - maybe this coming year.

I love the color change on Dark Shadow but the early color doesn't last long and I prefer the darker look. Pics taken 5/22 and 6/23

Mbug, even though Devon Green has diminished a bit, it’s still pretty. Let’s hope it grows back to it’s normal size this year.

Laurie- great Dinner Mint progression. I bought one, based upon your recommendation, in 2019. Just got it in the ground this past summer, but unfortunately didn’t get a picture of it. It’s super cute though and a good grower so far.

My only other D is Devon Green:

Only one 'D' and it happens to be one of my favourite ones: 'Dawn's Early Light'.

I love it for its cheery appearance when it breaks in the spring. This from late April, a month later and it's mostly green.

Beth, your Diamond Lake makes me glad that I bought my scrawny Diamond Lake last summer. Wow!
Steve, that Dancing Darling is gorgeous.
MBug, Deliverance looks amazing. You should submit that photo to the Hosta Library. Deep Blue Sea, too! And Deane’s Dream. And....all.
Old Dirt, your Deja Blu looks serenely beautiful!
Shadow, your Diana Remembered looks like a sculpture.
Sunny wood, the Dark Shadows looks great, surreal. Dick Ward is beautiful.
Mae, Dinky Donna is cute, like a watercolor painting.
Peren, Dinner Mint (all) look great. Nice Dancing Queen.
Debra, nice progression on Dream Queen. That is a fun plant to watch throughout the growing season.

Thanks Debra & utog. Debra I know how much you love progression pics!

windymess yay, I am so glad you got Dinner Mint! It is a superb small that never disappoints and has been a favorite from year one. I am looking forward to seeing yours next year!

What an exceptional display this year. Every single one of you has a plant(s) I covet and in some cases it is one I already have lol!

Great too that we have had some new posters. We have some notable no shows that I miss as well.

peren..you're right..I'm missing some posters too..I'm retired and have time..but not everyone does..🙁

Peren.all, your Dinner Mint pictures definitely show a hosta everyone should get (if they don't already have it). It's on my wish list!

I purchased the Dancing Queen hosta because of the beautiful pictures I saw of it during the year and on previous alphabets. It has not disappointed! It was so bright in the spring. You couldn't help but notice it. Love the piecrust edging too!

The corrugation of your Dick Ward, Sunnywood, is outstanding!

Steve, the waves on Dolcissimo are perfect!

Debra, your Dream Queen progression is great! Dream Queen looks "dreamy" at each stage! A beautiful hosta!

Mbug, I want my Deep Blue Sea to look like yours! Utog, your DBS is coming along well. I love the corrugation I am seeing on it. I've been struggling with that one, and now it has almost been covered by nearby hostas that have taken off! I must put that on my to-do list---find a place for Deep Blue Sea!

My Dark Star didn't do as well as I expected in 2020. I discovered it seems to be too low in the ground now. Another thing for the 2021 to-do list!

    Dark Star

Diamonds are Forever (new in 2020). I look forward to seeing this one again.
