Design Layout! Help Needed!!

I have bought a flat few years ago, it's 1000sq ft, the completion of the project is on Year 2021 (which is this year). I start to review the floor plan and realise, the dining area and kitchen is way too small!!

Do you guys have any idea on how to re-design it so that it won't be so squishy >.< Do not wish to knock down any walls as it's going to cost lots of money...

We'd like to help, but we don't have enough information. For starters, the picture you posted is much too small to read, especially the one on the right.

What we really need is a fully-measured layout of the spaces under consideration. In your case, that would be the Kitchen & Dining Room...assuming the rooms are staying where they are now. See the Featured Answer of the "New to Kitchens? Read Me First!" thread for more information on what we need.

Oh, and I would modify the Forums you included to be Kitchens, Building a Home, and Bathrooms. The Building a Home Forum is probably the best place to ask for help for the overall layout of your home. The Kitchens and Bathrooms Forums can best help with the Kitchen and Bathroom layouts.

If you plan to rearrange the layout of your home, I would settle on that first before trying to do a detailed layout of the Kitchen and Dining Room.

Get a drop leaf pedestal table and center it in the dining zone . Take advantage of the wall where the sketch has Table and chairs. In future time you may want to install a shallow counter there for laying out food or general use: you can do this w or without cabinets for storage. Purchase of apartment scaled couch or sectional or chairs will assist . Your comment is about scrutiny of kitchen . Square footage is dedicated to 3 bedrooms So living and dining and kitchen has space removed for the 3rd bedroom. Utilize a spare bedroom for reading or tv or computer / work activity. Usuallly a 3 bedroom condo/ flat would also be more square feet overall.

The dimensions that we need aren't there, or at least not easily seen.

Either draw it up on graph paper and label the various dimensions, or label them on your picture in dark pen/pencil so we can read them. You need to include the widths of each wall/window/door/doorway and the distances between each wall/window/door/doorway similar to the sample below. Square footage isn't useful, actual dimensions are.

What is the space labeled "Yard" (to the right of the Kitchen)? Is it inside your home or is it outside?

Will you be using all three bedrooms as bedrooms? If not, perhaps the master bedroom could become your living room, the dining table (which you can also use for a desk, or for games) can be in the living room with room for a small sitting area, and you can use the wall where the table is currently shown for more kitchen.
