I just painted my basement paneling Simply White from Benjamin Moore. The doors and trim also the same color and same finish (semigloss).
There are also 3 brick walls, one with a fireplace. I was going to paint them Pure (an Annie Sloan color) with chalk paint and put the matte lacquer over.

My question: is it ok if the wall paneling and the brick walls are different shades of white??
