I’ve done the different color on my island so it looks like a seperate piece of furniture. I just painted my white cabinets grey with black handles . Was going to leave the top white but i said I’ll try one door and I love it so it’s all great . Either way is nice

I also took of the doors of one cabinet and painted it grey . Struggling with the 2 smaller ones should be all grey to ... help

I mix different colored Ikea together often I have high gloss white and stainless from Ikea IMO as long as the doors are the same style go for it.Just keep in mind different colored cabinets are not good mixed with 2 different counters.

Thank you Patricia . this piece has two glass doors but I’d like to keep it open like it’s a seperate Piece of furniture, if you will . i painted all the white cabinets gray and they all have doors and the insides were left white . I am not sure if I should leave the two smaller cupboards white of paint it all gray ?
