Bertazzoni hob -- cleaning?

We're considering retiring our 20-year-old Smeg gas hob and are thinking either induction or another gas hob, most likely La Germania (a.k.a. Bertazzoni). I've cooked on my sister's and found it easier to clean than my Smeg. Does anyone have experience with their black glass gas hob with the "monoblock" burners? If so, how easy are they to clean?
