Hi, I'm new to Houzz, which I think is amazing. We're remodeling our living room by vaulting / cathedral ceilings, The length is 29' by 18' and we'll have 3 double rafter ties equally spaced across the length of the room. The ceilings are currently 8' and we'll gain and additional 4' at center of the ceiling. The rafters are 2 x 6 and roof will be insulated with spray foam. Our current deign thinking is to have ~8 recessed lights adn led light strips on top of the rafter ties lighting up the ceiling. Question I have is, a. are there any 4" sloped recessed lights that would fit on a 2 x 6 ? I can't find any and have been searching for days. and b. is the combination of the recessed lights and LED strips sufficient? Thanks so much in advance
