Baby Blue Eyes looks great with all those blooms, and the colors in the UF Boy Crazy are luscious. I was just talking to someone the other day who grows Blue Beetle and he too complained that his didn't double, but still looked good none the less. Same with yours.................My contribution is a new one this year. It grew well.

Brave World, an oldie I was ready to get rid of this one after having it several years. Only about 5 blooms per scape, but I moved it to a neglected area of the yard and it took off, multiplied and gets decent bud counts now. Such an unusual color.

Butterfly Moon did not do as well this year after a vehicle spun its tires on it. I was surprised it came back at all, but delighted to see it.

Sherry wow love them all but Blue Beetle is spectacular! Brocaded Gown is still a beauty, that colour is really lovely.

Maryl I do love screaming orange and that one is definitely intense.

David so many to choose from but Blues in the Night is my favorite.

Black Arrowhead was just planted last fall and I am looking forward to it getting bigger and better.

Blue Sheen - I have come to like this one very much after being not too impressed the first couple of years. Such a long bloom and rebloom period.

Bonanza is a super oldie.

Buffy's Doll. The flowers are among the foliage, a feature that is not desirable I know but I do like the colouration. Poor pic this year.

There are so many nice blooms that it's hard to pick a favorite. I agree that Blue Beetle is lovely even if it doesn't double. Bass Gibson is another favorite (love the teeth, as you all know).

Bridgeton Intense Heat looks like our kind of daylily.

Birthday Wishes is another that catches my eye.

Nancy, I am sorry to hear what you said about Bengali. We have it too. We had two but lost one and the other has not done well. These southerns are such a gamble, but we keep trying hoping to breed with it. Bullfrog Kisses is another one I really like but we couldn't grow it.

Ballin' the Jack was new last spring. The hybridizer of this daylily, Dan Bachman, recently retired. We hated to see that happen. He grew many beautiful daylilies that grow very well here. He was also incredibly generous when you ordered from him. Not only did he have great sales, but he often included bonus plants of his recent intros. This is one of those bonuses.

Here is another bonus from Dan--Belly Button Slipknots.

Barracuda Bay was our first toothy daylily (an it's not really that toothy. We have an intro for 2021 out of it (no teeth on that one, though).

Barrett Phelps, Jr. is relatively new to the garden and looks like it will be a great grower.

I wasn't going to post Bass Gibson since David already did, but since I so rarely get a clump shot, I decided to post it.

Sherry - Belle Cook is such a pretty pink! It reminds me a lot of the seedling I call "Rubber Maid." I love your photos of Bluegrass Memories and Blue Beetle! I'm surprised Bela Lugosi is splotchy for you. I've never seen that one splotch here. It may just be the spot where you have it planted.

Nancy - I wish my Born To Run had looked as good as your photo. It was nearly always spotchy here, and when the grubs devoured the final fan I shed no tears. I'm glad Butterfly Moon survived the truck accident. It's so pretty!

Beastmaster is sure a toothy thing, but I wish the scapes were taller.

Best for Last is a late bloomer.

Blessings Beyond Measure has a wheel bug in the center. You have to watch for those bugs. They kill other insects, so we like them in the garden, and they are not aggressive toward humans, but they will bite if they are messed with and I guess it really hurts. We have tons of them in the garden.

I am not sure why we have Blue Corn Moon. It's not my kind of daylily.

Bob Marley is one of Bob's favorites. It's a great grower and bloomer too.

Bodacious Bite is one of my favorites--perfect every day. We load it down with pods every year.

Brilliant Circle is such a cute little thing. It languished for several years, but put on a show last season.

We grow several of the Broadway series. This is Broadway Cherry Blast. Some of the Broadways do well here and some won't grow--too tender I guess. My favorite was Broadway Starfish, but I couldn't keep it alive even in the greenhouse. We also lost B. Last Mohican and B. Elf.

This is one of my favorite Broadways--Broadway Player. Every flower is just perfect. It won't, unfortunately, set seeds for me. Next year I will try using its pollen.

This is Bucklebury Ferry. It looks like it will be a great grower with excellent stats. It out performed its registered stats last year. Why, oh why do your seedlings produce better stats after you have registered it?

Believe it or not, in our efforts to downsize the garden, Bob suggested that we get rid of Buddy's Betsy. I said absolute not! Betsy vies every year with Lava Flow to be the first daylily in our garden to bloom. Those extra early ones are always special.

Several of James Hall's intros have proven tender, but it looks like Buddy's Pinkie will do well. I love this flower--big, pink and teeth. What's not to love?

Hoosier Nan - I'm glad you posted the clump shot of Bass Gibson. It's a wow and it reminds me that I should get mine out of its pot. I think Barrett Phelps Jr. may be my favorite of yours. Sherry, i have Bluegrass Memories where it gets afternoon shade now. It did get morning shade, and I rather think it started out with better color, but by end of day was not as nice. Thinking about moving it back because I am with my daylilies more early in the day. I quite like Buffy's Memory, I have several in that general color range, but something about that one is so attractive.

Nancy, barrett Phelps has such nice ruffles and form. Stunning clump of Bass Gibson.

Debra, Born to Run has about 75% really nasty looking blooms, but that 25% that look good keeps me from getting rid of it. I had Barbara Mandrell briefly, it promptly died. Then I heard so many people say it was often splotchy I decided not to try it again. Bat King is gorgeous. I am looking forward to seeing Black Panther in my garden. Your Buddy's Red head looks like a nice clear red.

Blue Jay Tapestry is always a reliable rebloomer.

Born to Reign clumped up fast, but doesn't seem to have a lot of buds.

Boundless Beauty mades a beautiful clump each season.

Betty Bush was blooming at clump strength last season. It usually reblooms, but did not last year.

Blue Eclipse multiplied very well last year.

Brown's Ferry Queen of Hearts finally reached its registered height last year.

Bragging Rights was a new one that did not bloom much. I liked the appplique, but in person the bloom color was more red purple than I expected.

Bohemia After Dark had a good run last year.

How do people get five or more photos? Four attempts with nothing.

Belle Cook is indeed reliable, with good substance. One is reluctant to part with it even if it is short. I am impressed with the scape on Buddy's Victoria Jade.

Bloom Where You Are Planted. Quite reliable, blooms about 26 inches. Doesn't seem to be well distributed, so probably is not a popular color.

Bob Marley deserves its accolades.

Boss Lady looks better here than parent Webster's Pink Wonder did.

The old Barney. Its color is intense and it grows well, but low bud count and, like many in its color range, not liking afternoon sun.

Mantis - I think I can get 10 photos on a post because I save them at such low resolutions. Buddy's Victoria Jade is usually my best budded and branched toothy purple. Bloom Where You're Planted and Bob Marley are good looking clumps!

I added these incrementally with edits. Very temperamental Houzz.

Birthday Wishes. Better bud count than many Selmans. Flowers are a bit slow to open flat, though not like parent Key to My Heart. Picture from 2019. Not sure how it fared in 2020.

Broken Chains. An Emmerich with good height and clean color.

Blue Pink Beauty. I love it, but pinks seem to have gone out of favor. Very reliable here.

Blushing Escapade. Good height, with blooms that stand out; better than many competitors, but not well distributed.

Bombay Silk --an iridescent color, with better branching than shows in this pic.

Bandshell. An older pastel that really is quite lovely.

Mantis, Birthday Wishes caught my eye Today. I have a few Selmans and have not been overwhelmed with the bud counts I get here. In fact they have been slow to establish for me.

BIRTHDAY WISHES is an outstanding plant in my zone 5 garden. I have it in full sun all day and reaches its registered height. It has good increase. It is pollen and pod fertile for those who hybridize.

I always like your Blue Pink Beauty Mantis. Blushing Escapade is another pink I like. I don't think pink in general has gone out of favor. Perhaps pale pinks aren't as favored as they once were; and unfortunately that is what color so many of them turn out to be in a garden setting.......Bob Marley is a color that appeals to my hot blood, but I can't quite get worked up about Uf's. It's a great clump for you though..............Maryl

Mantis - Your photos of Blushing Escapade and Blue Pink Beauty are lovely. Pinks certainly haven't fallen out of favor with me. They are my favorite among the daylily colors. I think there aren't as many hybridizers working on pinks now because of this focus on patterns and crossing everything with RFK. Korth, Bell and Harry still seem to be introducing pinks.

Bass Gibson has been a good performer the last few years. It is not as tall or as consistently good as Glowing Quasar, but GQ is not so toothy. Laura, what comments do you have about Bluegrass Memories? Some have complained about tenderness or inability to tolerate sun.

Those are some lovely clumps, Debra. I love Betty Bush.

Mantis, Bob Marley looks fantastic. It always seems to catch my eye, but that photo is stunning. And I don't like orange, LOL. I like Birthday Wishes and that great clump of Blue Pink Beauty.

Brad, you captured well the unique color of Bombay Silk. The videos you refer to were posted on July 10, 2019. (Go back to 29 on the previous pages.) Just experimental. A lot of people make videos of various gardens, but I find that they often don't give a very clear idea of flower size and plant height. Of course, stills don't always either. The year 2019 was a good one here for daylilies, even though the winter of 2018-19 was cold.

Hi Pam, so nice to see you here. I have a number of daylilies that I got from you in the past.

Here are some of the B's in my garden . At least the ones I have labelled at the moment . The sun was so intense here last year that I found it difficult to get good images of some of the daylilies ...there always seemed to be a glare in the images.. These photos are all taken with my phone .

The image below is Bonibrae Velvet Shamrock . I somehow missed putting the name on the image. It was its first year in my gardens .

In the image below you can start to see the effect the drought was having on the daylilies Lots of dead or dying leaves which detracted from the overall beauty of the plants

Some real beauties on this post ......my heart jumped when I saw Brown's Ferry Queen of Hearts though! Wow that one is glorious
