Caulking around ceiling molding is separating in less than an year

Last spring I took off all the old caulking from the ceiling as it had separated from the wall. Now that the heat is on it looks just as bad as before. I believe I used Boss 363 acrylic latex w silicone. I’m in search of a product that will last longer than 10 months. Thank you in advance.
