Searching is quite easy under a particular forum, Just make sure you are in that forum when starting your search :-)

Just FYI my initial attempts to search within a forum (e.g. citrus) failed. By shutting down my browser and re-entering / re-signing into the forum, an autocomplete option did pop up "in Citrus". I had never seen this pop up before - or if i did, it was not obvious to me at the time. Maybe its meant to be too easy, or too obvious....

then again - I sure would like to be able to search multiple forums (without discussing drop leaf tables) : - ) So perhaps the houzz coders could offer such option for search in the future.

The search really does stink and doesn't do what it says it does. It's not your fault.

Half the time, my chosen areas of interest display half of the items in them, and don't sort by date. Clicking again gives an entirely different set of postings. Doing so again may or may not display the same postings. Queries work or don't work, almost randomly.

Houzz's database is, perhaps, not the best-maintained or best-queried thing on the planet. Or the indices are borked. I'm not there so I can't diagnose it, but I've been a programmer and worked with SQL databases tons of times.
