LED strip light 12 V recommendation

Hi - My contractor told me to get 12 V LED strip lights for our undercabinet lighting. It is already hardwired for undercabinet lighting with a switch. What is the best type/brand of lighting that you would recommend?
Also, do I want to get the LED strip lights with adhesive, or is it better to get one that gets screw in the bottom of cabinets?

I’m clueless, but the biggest thing I know is that the contractor specifically said 12 V. Thanks!

Get Hafele with their driver. The driver is what creates the correct voltage for the chosen lighting. They aren’t universal.

Talk to a designer for free at InspiredLed.com They will figure out exactly what you need, all the bits and pieces, show you the design and then you complete the purchase. I had a super positive experience with them recently and the price is very, very reasonable.

As far as screws versus sticky - I had initially planned to use screws and ordered that type, but once I saw how lightweight the lights were and how itty bitty the screws are, I bought a package of the “command” poster squares and used those to hold the lights up. Looks totally flawless.
