why don't you wait and see if they can actually remove the granite from your friends kitchen first? what if they can't?

I'll also add, you're shooting this photo in very yellow light, and it's casting a hue onto the stone.

people are going to want more info. there's more to picking cabinet colors than granite. Flooring, lighting, layout, size, appliances, etc.

I did find a pic of a very close match to that granite

White is probably the best cabinet color, unless you go w/something darker.
