Help please-White or grey galley kitchen

Dear IKEA fans.

We bought an older house and I have a hard time choosing right color of the kitchen. I have a galley kitchen, two open doors, a window, lots of light. I love metro white tiles and rustic charm. What kind of color you suggest? I think that combination of Bodbyn off white+white tiles will bother me.

White with metro tiles or Lerhyttan grey or even Bodbyn grey? And of course butcher countertop:)

I would really appreciate your opinion. Sending you my choises, with my kitchen, violet wall be removed.

Can you please advise, which to choose?

White cabinets with white subway type. Like your top picture. Grey comes and goes. Maybe go a taupe and grey wood for your floor so you have some of both neutrals. That way your are limited.

Not limited. If you want contrast I use black or navy so your traditional look stays timeless

Do you think Bodbyn off white and white metro tiles would be good combination- it is different shade?

Go to this websites “latest” button. There is an article on 2021 trends aand a few white with black accents. Black is very classy for your drama.

I like your last picture. Your kitchen now doesn't look like it has a lot of light though you say it does. It's adorable though!

Whites are tricky but it would seem to suit the size of your space and the style you like. There are off white metro tiles that could complement the cabinets. Safest to chose them after the cabinets go in, or get several samples online to compare with the doors (Tilebar has good sample program). You would also have to be careful with surrounding paint color white choices. And finally consider the temperature color of your lighting (warm, “daylight”, or cool). Good luck! Lots of beautiful white IKEA kitchens with warm butcher block and white metro tiles if you google or Pinterest.
