Does this work as an accessory sitting adjacent to the fireplace itself on the hearth? I prefer to not put anything in the vase, but I suppose some sort of foliage might work. I have a champagne colored grass wall covering behind the fireplace and the stone is neutral, gray, and tan colored. I have both champagne and silver accents in the room. What do you think?
