If you really need to paint an accent wall pjck a color from your rug. Art work with blue from rug over the fireplace would look nice.

I agree, if you really need an accent color, pick it from your rug. I also agree, a really nice painting would look very nice and give some interest to that wall.

You really don’t need it. The room has lots of detail. Very pretty space. Agreed to rather add art and accents than paint

If you put a mirror there, make sure what is reflecting in the mirror is something you want everyone to see. You need the interest and color there. A large painting would work much better.

I really like your current paint color and would opt for art over the fireplace.
